Here, I worked with and was trained by leading experts and on site behavior analyst. I have been involved in the inception of two different classrooms for kids with Autism, one in Providence for middle school kids and one in Warwick for K-2 kids.

ADD/ADHD

Getting my Master of Special Education degree entailed extended study in the area of ADHD/ADD. Also I have consulted with many specialists both in my own school as well as my son's school district to research the best strategies for my students as well as my son. The reading and research of many books including "The Pre-referral Intervention Manual (PRIM) to find strategies that help students to attend and stay on task during instruction.

Colleen has tutored my 2nd grader and we feel very fortunate to have found her. She works with my daughter on improving her math and reading comprehension skills. She is very patient and really caters her teaching style to what my daughter needs. She comes prepared with many tools to share. My daughter loves working with Colleen and looks forward to her tutoring sessions. Colleen shares with me what she did after a session and gives great suggestions for what we can do to help her at home. I would highly recommend using Colleen as a tutor.
